Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is a worldwide web standard for presenting scalable vector graphics in web browsers.

Most modern web browsers natively support SVG. One notable exception is Internet Explorer, which requires the Adobe SVG Viewer (ASV) plugin.

If your browser doesn’t support SVG, you can either install the ASV plugin or switch to one of these browsers, which support SVG natively:

Safari *
Firefox
OmniWeb *
Opera *

* Only these browsers support animated SVG.

Note that Adobe is no longer supporting ASV, so switching to another browser is the recommended approach.
